Tomorrow at 8PM, our weekly PEP discussion continues with Professor Sorens. Come and discuss Jeremy Bentham's An Introduction to the Principles of Morals and Legislation (we'll read an excerpt at the table):

 

•    Is happiness the ultimate standard of right and wrong? 

•    Do we have a duty to maximize the happiness of all, even if that requires taking away the happiness of some people?
