Well, I did go to Lake Morey in Farilee today and was not disapointed. In addition to over 300 swallows (really difficult to estimate), I counted 68 Horned Grebes and 13 Red-necked Grebes. Those are some pretty good numbers for central Vermont. I found two more Red-necked Grebes on Lake Fairlee, I think that's an eBird first for that location. Most birds were on the southern end of Lake Morey.
