I read these posts with such envy!  I live near South Woodstock, West of the river, and at an altitude of about 1900'.  I can't keep a feeder up amy longer, because of bears, but in case it is relevant, here is what I have nonetheless been seeing near the house or on the very small adjacent pond, in the last 3 days only'

Phoebe today for first time
Song sparrow for the last few days, singing his heart out alone.
Bluebird, male, alone
Several robins settling in
Big flock of goldfinches

The usual jays, chickadees, woodpeckers, doves, nuthatches (mostly when there was feed)

Visiting pair of Canada Geese
Visiting pair of Red-breasted mergansers
Settling pair of mallards

I did have purple finches briefly, earlier

No juncos, no red-winged blackbirds or swallows yet

I never ever get cardinals, sigh, and very rarely any waxwings.
