Sitting out on Second Grade Island right now(what the schools kids from Thetford Elementary call it). Watching two pair of hooded mergansers, and hearing Canada geese, and red-winged blackbirds. Also- back at the office, while looking to see if my local beaked hazelnuts were flowering (they weren't), I saw my FOY brown creeper corkscrewing around the trees looking for a tasty snack. Ahhh, spring (not that we had much of a winter!). -- Jason Berard Stewardship Director Upper Valley Land Trust 603-643-6626 To post messages, send e-mail to: [log in to unmask] Set your e-mail application to PLAIN TEXT ONLY to post messages.
