I took photos of the bald eagles on Mascoma Lake (1 adult and 2 juvies) back on March 3rd. They were feeding on a deer carcass.

For the past two afternoons I've seen 2 mature bald eagles feeding communally on something sticking out of the ice on Mascoma Lake.  Roughly 200 feet from the shore.   They are easily visible from the road, Route 4A, about halfway between the public beach and La Salette.   If they are there, you won't miss them.
