Welcome Spring!!!
The Spring Meeting presents a great opportunity for professional development, networking and a time to renew old friendships and forge new ones! The Program Committee has worked very hard to present a program that will allow attendees
to choose from a wide range of concurrent sessions and discussion groups during our the two and a half days of regular conference scheduling on
Monday through Wednesday, May 2-4. Special interest workshops will be held on Sunday, May 1st.
The workshops provide in-depth coverage of topics including the ever popular,
“Essentials in Research Administration.”
Meeting highlights include:
· The launch of the annual
Julie Norris Memorial Lecture: Leadership in Research Administration. This inaugural session is in honor of Julie Norris, the former director of the Office Sponsored Programs, MIT. Julie inspired many of us and was a recognized expert
and leader in the field. Leading the session will be Gunda Liders, Associate VP for Research Administration, University of Rochester,
Kim Moreland, Associate Vice Chancellor, Research and Sponsored Programs, University of Wisconsin and
Jane Youngers, former Assistant VP for Resear! ch Administration, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas.
· An educational, informative and always entertaining, keynote on “Leading the Way on Uniform Guidance” by Gil Tran, Senior Policy Analyst, Office of Management
and Budget
· Outstanding concurrent sessions and discussion groups
· Networking opportunities with your colleagues
· Special sponsor exhibit area
All of this and more awaits you, at a very special venue, the
Sea Crest Beach Hotel
in North Falmouth, MA.
