A change in the weather has brought more diversity and higher numbers to my feeders here in Orford. I counted 17 Dark-eyed Juncoes, and 15 American Goldfinches this morning, about twice as many of each since earlier in the week. American Tree Sparrows (3) and Purple Finches (5) are recent arrivals.
