A reminder that tomorrow morning from 7:00 to 9:00 AM, the Mascoma Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon is holding a bird walk led by Blake Allison and George Clark at the Bedell Bridge State Historic Site in Haverhill, NH.
This walk is free and open to the public. All experience levels welcome. Bring binoculars and scopes if available. Participants should be prepared to walk up to a mile over mostly level but sometimes uneven and potentially damp terrain. If, unfortunately, there should be steady rain, the event will be cancelled.
We'll be looking especially for raptors, sparrows, waterfowl and other species found in the riverine, wetland and agricultural habitats along the scenic Connecticut River within the park's boundaries.

Road/Carpooling Instructions: If driving from the Hanover/Lebanon area, follow NH Route 10 north to Haverhill. Two hundred yards past the town green, turn left onto Meadow Road and continue about a mile on the dirt road to the parking area at the Connecticut River boat launch. Please note that the walk is to begin at 7:00 AM at that parking area.

For participants wishing to carpool from the Hanover, Norwich area and surrounding towns, meet at 6:30 AM in
the commuter parking lot off River Road in Norwich by the Ledyard Bridge. To reach that parking lot from Hanover, cross the Ledyard Bridge into Norwich, take an immediate first right turn onto River Road, then an immediate left turn into the commuter parking lot. We plan to return to that lot before 10:00 AM.
