No sign of the stilt sandpiper at Pompey Flats this morning. There was a good selection of ducks and warblers. Two great blue herons patrolled the shallows. There were ~10 catbirds, a couple phoebes and several sparrows, including at least one Lincoln's. Late morning, a great egret arrived, inspected the shallows in several places, decided he didn't care for the menu and departed south. ____________________________________________________________________________ Ian Clark PO Box 51 West Newbury, VT 05085 Home (802) 429-2477 Cell (848) 702-0774 <http://www.ianclark.com/> www.IanClark.com <http://www.leeclark.com/> www.LeeClark.com <http://www.UpperValleyPhotos.com> www.UpperValleyPhotos.com <http://www.facebook.com/uppervalley.photos> www.facebook.com/uppervalley.photos **************************************************************** To post messages, send e-mail to: [log in to unmask] Set your e-mail application to PLAIN TEXT ONLY to post messages.
