Directions to Enfield:
(GPS: Look for Enfield United Methodist Church, 214 US-4, Enfield, NH)

From I-89 take Exit 17 (Route 4 Enfield/Mascoma Lake).
At the bottom of the ramp take a right towards Enfield (Route 4 East).
As you enter Enfield you will come around a very sharp corner. The Elementary School
will be on your left.
Go down the short hill to the next intersection (a 4-way intersection).
Huse park will be on the right, beside and behind the Community Building and the Methodist Church. (If you pass Mickey's Cafe, you've gone too far!)
You should also see a sign in front of the Community Building announcing our concert.
You can park in the parking lot beside the Community Building.

This is a rain or shine event: If we have bad weather, we're playing inside the Community Building on the same schedule.

BOARD MEMBERS: Becky needs to hand off the pink music tubs ASAP. Does anyone have space to hold them until our Lyman Point Park concert this Wednesday?

BARRE HERITAGE FESTIVAL PARADE - BARRE, VT - PARADE AT 1 PM ON SATURDAY, JULY 25

This is a bit more regimented than our other parades, folks. We have to be IN THE LINE-UP at a set time, so PLEASE be at the Auditorium NO LATER THAN 12:00 PM. (There's plenty of parking.) If you can arrive earlier, that's great, as we'll be putting up the frame and tarp. This is a big parade and a city-wide event, so plan on having a little bit of traffic to negotiate before and after. Uniform is light blue band shirts and khaki pants. Bring your folding chairs. Stands will be available.

So far, Saturday is looking good, weather-wise, but if that changes and the parade is cancelled, I'll do my best to get the word out ASAP Saturday morning.

Directions to Barre (Barre Auditorium):
(For GPS, use Barre City Auditorium, 16 Auditorium Hill, Barre, VT)

From I-89:
Take Exit 7. Go through 5 traffic lights, following signs that read EAST, 62 and 302.  At the 5th traffic light go straight through the intersection, following the sign that reads NORTH RT. 14. Get into the right turn lane at the next traffic light and turn right onto Summer St. At the next intersection (no light) turn left, and head up the hill to the Auditorium and Civic Center. Saint Monica's Catholic Church will be in front of you on your left. Turn up the hill before the church. The parade will end at Pyramid Supply on South Main St., but you may wish to continue a bit further to the 4-way intersection, with traffic lights. Turn left onto Ayers St. You can sit out the parade here, and then make your way back to the auditorium where your cars are.

From Williamstown:  Follow RT. 14 North. You will make a hard right hand turn at major intersection of RT 62 and I-89. Go to next traffic light and tun right onto Summer St. At the next intersection (no light) turn left, and head up the hill to the Auditorium and Civic Center. Saint Monica's Catholic Church will be in front of you on your left. Turn up the hill before the church.

**********
Our last two performances this summer are Lyman Point Park concert on Wednesday, and the Canaan parade on August 1. I think we still need an announcer for Lyman (Becky, any update there?) so if you're interested, let us know!

August 1st is also the date of our annual band picnic. For those of you who haven't attended before, this event is meant for band members and their families. It's free of charge, and is catered - no need to bring pot-luck. We meet at the Rice's camp on Mascoma Lake and wind down from this crazy summer! We need a head-count of those who plan to attend, which is why I've been bringing a sign-up sheet to our last few concerts. If you haven't already added your name and number of guests, e-mail me as soon as you can. Elisa needs the numbers for the caterer, and the earlier the better.

Thanks, folks, and I'll see you tomorrow night!
