I left work a bit early to take a quick spin around UVLT's Zebedee Wetland tonight before I had to pick up my kids after sports.
Blue flag iris, wild sasparilla, fringed polygala, and water lilies all blooming.  Along with the numerous red-winged blackbirds, I noted a nesting white throated sparrow (one egg and one nestling!). Also- at lest one of the wood duck boxes that students at Thetford Academy made for us has found approval with the target species!
Thanks to Design Tech teacher Chris Schmidt and his students for building us 6 nesting boxes to deploy at wetlands across the Upper Valley!
P.S. If anyone has a good game camera they'd be willing to lend perhaps we could catch "jump day"!
