While working in the yard, I heard the Prairie Warbler song, about 9 or 10 rising, slightly buzzy notes. I ran for my bins and found the bird at the edge of the field across the road from my house. It responded well to a bit of pishing and I got great looks. I believe these Prairie Warblers folks are getting in the Upper Valley this year are at the northern edge of their range. This was my first in Orford since I've lived here.
