Kathy Thompson and I both heard the VA rail at Zebedee marsh this am, on Thet. Hill.

Prairie Warbler was still singing away at UVDam, north end.  (that buzzy..ascending bzzz-bzzz-buz )

Winter Wren by the locked pasture gate.  No. Parula by the parking lot.

At the Pond (beaver), a F Co. Merganser flew over….vocalizing her “Kwaff-ing” “song”.

2 Greater Yellowlegs (pair !?) were feeding on pond edge. Lesser is more demure.  These were “big” with longer bill and slightly recurved.

I believe I have not seen GrYe before at the UVD.

1 Green Heron at pond as well.

2 Alder Flyc.  at pond.

1 singing Hermit Thrush along road…only  heard several this year.
