Please join us this coming Friday at 7:00 a.m. for our weekly walk at Union Village Dam Park in Thetford Center. Warblers and members of the flycatcher family will be of particular interest as we explore the park's "Mystery Trail" area with its wonderfully diverse habitat that includes riparian buffer, open fields, a pond and its wetlands as well as woods of mixed conifer and deciduous trees. Blake Allison will be hosting.

To join us, enter the park through the gate opposite E. C. Brown's Nursery on VT Rt. 113 in Thetford Center. Look for our party at a pull off area on the left about three hundred yards into the park.

The walk is free and open to the public. All levels of experience are welcome. Bring binoculars or a spotting scope if you have one. The recent rain means ground conditions likely will be damp. Sturdy, water-resistant footwear is recommended. The walking surface has uneven stretches once you leave the park's roadway.
