Hi folks,

Starting some planning for summer replacements of our iMacs and Laptops and the new lineup of Macs doesn’t come with DVD/CD drives.  We’ve got a pretty substantial collection of films in the Swarthmore LRC and wanted to tap into the collective LLTI experience to see how other labs have accomodated access to such material on newer generation machines.  I know there are external drives, but have you found it necessary to have one per machine or is it enough to just have a few floating around?

thanks,

- mike
