At 7:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2015, David Govatski will give an
illustrated talk on "The Nature of Pondicherry" in the Mayer Room of
the Howe Library in Hanover, NH, under cosponsorship of the Mascoma
Chapter of New Hampshire Audubon and the Howe Library. This program is
free and open to the public.

Pondicherry National Wildlife Refuge is among the most spectacular
natural areas in the state of New Hampshire and has recorded an
amazing 237 species of birds, 77 species of dragonflies and
damselflies, and 65 species of butterflies. Located about a 2 hour
drive from Hanover, the Pondicherry Refuge offers extensive northern
woodlands and marshes and provides impressive scenic views of the
Presidential Range of the White Mountains.

David Govatski's programs have been enthusiastically received by
numerous audiences. He is currently Chair of New Hampshire Audubon's
Ammonoosuc Chapter and President of the Friends of Pondicherry. Among
birders, he is widely known for his year round reports from the higher
elevations in the White Mountains as well as from the Pondicherry area.
