A solitary pine siskin came to the feeders about 2 pm. Its arrival was heralded by the sound of its distinctive rising buzz call from atop a nearby tree. It appeared shortly thereafter amidst a flock of a dozen goldifnches. Appropriately, it shared a tube feeder with another northern visitor, a common redpoll.
