Yesterday I had 32 Bohemian Waxwings in my yard. Because the fruit in my crabapples and other trees was mostly depleted in late fall by robins, they didn't stay long. I did have enough time to run and grab my bins to confirm i.d. and count them. Today I had a smaller, mixed flock of Cedar Waxwings and Bohemians in the fruiting ornamental trees around the Rivendell offices.
