Subject: FS39, Group Documentary, spring 2015

Film students,

This spring term, I will teach FS39: Group Documentary, an exciting course in which the whole class works together to make a professional documentary.

In 2014, students made the very accomplished Good Vibes and Duct Tape: Stories with Cindy Pierce, which had *two sold-out* screenings in the Loew, http://thedartmouth.com/2014/05/21/arts/class-makes-documentary-film-about-local-comedian.

Because this is an instructor permission course, if you would like to take part in this hands-on filmmaking experience, email me now:

1) your background shooting and editing video, if any
2) relevant courses you have taken
3) documentaries that have inspired you

Our focus this year will be Walt Cunningham, the director of Dartmouth Idol and the Dartmouth Gospel Choir, an amazing guy with a great life story.

Please forward this email to other students who may be interested.

Take care,

Jeff
