Monday, July 21st, 6-7pm: Dartmouth Film Society
Meeting (Wilson 205) The Dartmouth Film Society is a student organization that meets once a week to discuss the films playing at the Hopkins Center, debate
important issues (like whether Ghostbusters is the best film of
all time), write program notes, critique new movie trailers and vote on series proposals for future terms. You don’t have to be an expert - you just have to have an opinion!

and Pictures (Loew Auditorium, Black Family Visual Arts

Sat July 26th, All-Day Event, 10am-7pm: Digital Day 2014:
The Directors Guild of America will hold its annual Digital Day event entitled, Eye on
the Future. The event will emphasize cutting edge technology in the film industry,
and include panels as well as hands-on demos in the DGA Lobby. In order to attend the event you must register using the
attached flyer. The event will be located at the DGA and for the full day, including Continental Breakfast and Lunch, the cost is $35 per person.
