Here is a program that might be of interest.

Pamela Hunt, Avian Conservation Biologist with New Hampshire Audubon, is inviting residents of the Upper Valley to an informative talk about the Chimney Swift. The Chimney Swift migrates all the way from the Lower Amazon Basin in South America to mate and rear its young, and will be arriving in the Upper Valley area in the next several weeks. They nest in chimneys and roost in school and factory smokestacks. However, like all aerial insectivores, Chimney Swifts are in steep decline. They face a number of challenges and Pamela Hunt will discuss these challenges at the talk and how you can help restoration efforts by counting Chimney Swifts in your area. After the talk, we will take a walk over to a known roosting site of the Chimney Swift to observe their behavior.
