VCE is recruiting volunteers for our flagship citizen science project, Mountain Birdwatch (MBW). MBW is a long-term monitoring effort throughout northern New England and New York to track populations of Bicknell's Thrush and other high-elevation forest birds. We're looking for beginner to experienced birdwatchers to conduct a dawn survey this June; we particularly need strong hikers to adopt routes in the White Mountains. Hike a scenic mountain trail, enjoy the sunrise, and count birds for conservation!
