Very pleased to have a flock of about 20 Evening Grosbeaks at the feeders this year- they have been here for several weeks.  Never thought I'd love a harsh "fweep" for a spring song!  There appear to be a number of them on Chapel Hill North in Norwich as well-perhaps 8-10 or more.  Maybe part of the same flock, but counts seen separately within 2 minutes of each other make me think there may be 30 or more in the area.  A good year for them, I hope! They are keeping company with a small flock of Red-wings on Chapel St.  There are lots of Blue Jays in both locations. Here on Tigertown Rd. we also have Juncoes, changing colored Goldfinches, Purple Finches, Red-breasted  and White-breasted Nuthatch pairs, Chickadees, Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers, an occasional Brown Creeper, Tufted Titmice (just arrived a week ago), and Raven fly-overs.

On another note, we went to Dead Creek  to look for Snowys 2 weeks ago. None that day, but got some nice views of Northern Harriers, Rough-legged Hawk and Redtails.  Harrier photos here:
