Seen on the home property at about 11:30 Monday morning. Flushed from a tree as we came up the driveway in our car. It flew over and away from us giving a good look at its light underparts and then the dark of its back, head and upper wings as it disappeared into the woods. At first thought red-tailed, because of the bird's size, and we have a red-tailed that frequents the property. The markings were wrong, however.Too big to be a sharp-shinned or coopers. Did not get a look at facial markings which would have made an ID easier.

Not a first ever record for the property. Had one about seven+/- years ago.
