Hey everyone,

This afternoon I checked Lake Pinneo for waterfowl. There was a large number of both Hooded and Common Mergansers present; it was nice to see some male Common Mergansers present too. Best bird though was a winter adult Herring Gull that was swimming on the water with the mergansers before taking off before I left.

I also checked Woodstock and there were 2-300 Canada Geese and the Snow Goose feeding in the fields. Nothing exciting at Wilder Dam either.

See some of you tomorrow,
