This year's annual meeting will take place at the Montshire Museum in Norwich, VT beginning 1 p.m. with doors opening for registration at noon. (See end of this e-mail for the schedule). We hope you'll take advantage of the event's proximity to come and see the exhibits and to find out about the state organization's activities both present and planned.

The meeting will be preceded by a series of birding outings in the morning, two of which are being sponsored by the Mascoma Chapter.

The first is an outing to the Connecticut River flood plain adjacent to the Simon Pearce Windsor, VT facility. That is to be led by George Clark beginning at 7 a.m. Last year's walk turned up an abundance of migrating sparrows.

The second outing will be at Bedell Bridge State Historic Site in Haverhill, NH beginning at 7 a.m. That walk is to be led by Art Mudge. The park's diverse habitat usually provides an interesting variety of species.
