Son Will and I made it to South Beach in Chatham, Monday.   This is a very
special spot. (would be great for photography, hint).

 

One can only get there with a group, no more single boat rides. So we went
with Wellfleet Bay Audubon. 4 hours.

 

I logged 45 species. 9 domestic. Rest from the water or during the beach
walk.  There are No. Atl. Grey Seals about, as a bonus. No GW Sharks.

 

1 Little Gull (non-breeding plum).   A first.

9 Am Oystercsatchers

1 White-rumped Sandpiper

1 Wilson's Phalarope, winter plum, on the beach, wandering around with head
cut off.

1 Forsters Tern

1 Black Tern

~ 10 Red Knots

~400 Black-bellied Plovers

~50 Semi-p Plovers

~200 Semi-p Sandpipers

~20 Least Sandp.

~200 Sanderlings

~ 12 Willets

3 Greater Yellowlegs

Osprey, 6

Co Loons, 6

Many gulls, swallows, redwings.
