Join Art Mudge and George Clark this coming Saturday for this always rewarding outing to Bedell Bridge State Historic Site in Haverhill, NH. The park's varied habitats - riverine, ag lands and woods - provide opportunities for seeing a wide variety of birds including late migrants,resident breeders and a variety of waterfowl.

The walk is to last from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Carpooling will be available from the park 'n ride at the Norwich end of Ledyard Bridge. Meet there at 6:30 a.m. Expect to return by 9:30.

Driving yourself? Take NH Rt. 10 to the park entrance just north of the Haverhill Common. Turn onto the park access road and follow it down to a parking area near the river's edge. The site also can be reached from I-91. Take Exit 16 for Bradford/VT Rt. 25. At the bottom of the ramp follow Rt. 25 east crossing the CT River into NH a half mile beyond Farm-Way. Once into NH, continue on 25 east a quarter mile. Look for River Rd. on your left. Turn onto River Rd. and follow it north to its junction with Rt. 10 just below the Haverhill Common. Turn left onto Rt. 10 and follow it to the park entrance.
