I had a great morning visiting 12 points on my survey routes. Bobolinks and Savannah Sparrows at 10 of the 12 points, and 2 points at the Dean Memorial Airport in N. Haverhill produced 2 Eastern Meadowlarks. I also heard an American Bittern in a small marsh near the runway.  At one of my points on Brier Hill Rd., not far from there, I thought I heard a Red-bellied Woodpecker down the road. After the ten-minute survey (no target birds there and recently hayed), I walked down there and saw the bird clearly. Pretty far north for a Red-bellied Woodpecker.
