I experimented with my work FMP Advanced (v9), but it appears that on a Mac I can only create runtime for a Mac, and we don't have Advanced running on the work PCs. Maybe this has changed by version 12?
Nope. Runtime products are still platform-specific. A runtime created on your Mac will only run on other Macs.
