Yoicks. 

 

Lelia planted a “Mexican Sunflower” in the garden. Not sure if that is right, but..

 

Yesterday there were 9 monarchs on the plant (rather tall and full of flowers).  All had a new look about them.

 

Fun year for monarchs !!

I was going to make a similar observation. This does seem to be a better year than usual for monarchs---at least in comparison with the last 2-3 years.
