The Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon held its second, and final, Weds evening birdwalk
at the Union Village Dam yesterday.  A small group braved the warmth and bugs to identify 36 species,
not bad for the time of day.  The highlight was the singing and calling of Veerys seemingly everywhere -
the 12 noted on the count list is probably conservative.

Our final Friday walk of the season at the UV Dam will be tomorrow, 5/25, starting at 7am at the large parking area
.5 miles in from the Buzzell Bridge entrance in Thetford Center.
