Went down to the CT River and traveled between East Thetford and North Thetford Roads to see what might be around by way of waterfowl. Usual suspects seen about 1/4 mile north of E. Thetford Rd. where there is a series of corn fields that today still had some snow cover due to an unexpected 6" of snow early Saturday a.m. Worth noting this was the first sighting of waterfowl with these kinds of numbers this season.
