> Please join us for lunch to brainstorm ways to improve bike and ped routes within the campus and between campus and major destinations (i.e., college housing, the Coop, DHMC). Our objective is to encourage walking and cycling and improve safety for walkers and bicyclists. Hanover has prepared a draft pedestrian and bicycle master plan that identifies important bike and pedestrian routes in town that should be improved, expanded, connected. The plan (see attachment) is broad brush at this point, identifying a network, some conceptual design options, and education and encouragement options to be implemented over time through capital improvements done by the Town, College, or in concert with private development.
