Thanks to all who wrote. I have got the .mp4 file safely saved but it was by a method staring me in the face. Whenever I Control-clicked the actual movie, all I got was Speed Download and something I didn't understand. Eventually, I selected Speed Download and down it came as all the other file-types do. There was no need to use other downloaders.
