the rainy day kept me indoors but the birds were ever present in the garden.
First sighting in 2011 of 2 pairs of Rose-breasted grosbeaks, 1 black and
white warbler plus all the regulars. 29 different species in all.
Fox sparrows, song sparrows, tree sparrows, swamp sparrow, chipping
sparrows, juncos, chickadees, house and purple finches, siskins,
goldfinches, blue jays, cardinals, mourning doves, titmice, evening
grosbeaks, white breasted nuthatch, downy and hairy woodpeckers, a flicker,
white throated and white crowned sparrows, red winged blackbirds, grackles,
cowbirds, starlings and several robins
