I haven't installed Snow Leopard yet, but plan to soon. I am very happy that, by dumb luck and good timing, I have FMP 9.

I also don't like having the status area on the top. Why the heck can't we have a choice, in the settings, of whether to have it on the top or on the side?! I can see where having it on top might be an advantage in some cases, but It could also be an advantage to have it on the side in many cases.

You chose:

Windows and a three-versions-old FileMaker just because it has the status area on the side

Over:

Vastly more refined (and virus-free for now) OS and tons of new, useful, can't live-without-them-once-you-try-them FileMaker 9/10/11 features!
