I think I’m going to have to script this one – loop through the values (how do I count values???) of each record, and build up my correctly capitalised field using Proper
Thanks for reminding me of GetValue (one of those Get functions which isn’t really a Get function...)

So basically I need to capitalise the first word after each bullet. But there may be any number of bulleted lines in the field.

show all the records that you need to change - this operation will work on the selected set of records only
place cursor inside field "X"
under the "Records" menu item choose "Replace Field Contents"
in the dialog box that appears choose "Specify"
in the calculation dialog box type in Proper (X) ...... X being name of field where you want to make changes
click OK
click "Replace"

For your future reference, just like Upper (field name) makes all the text upper case and lower (field name) makes all the text lower case,
Proper (field name) makes all the text proper case........ 1st word capitalized, etc.
