Made a trip down to Mink Brook in Hanover this morning. Of note was a singing Black-And-White Warbler, a Pied-Billed Grebe, and 5 species of swallows: Cliff, Tree, Barn, Northern Rough Winged, and last but not least Bank swallows. The swallows and the grebe were seen on the river near the sewage treatment plant. Beautiful to watch. I highly recommend a trip to Ledyard Bridge, or Mink Brook (if they continue near the sewage treatment plant) to check out the activity.
