An early afternoon walk up Signal Hill in Lebanon, was relatively quiet due to the mid-summer conditions, but it did not seem to interfere with the noisy Wood Frogs in the vernal pools along the ridge trail. Note: Wood ticks were out in force already.

Red-shouldered Hawk - 1 gliding above upper meadow S-N , fortunately alerted me to it's flyby with a couple distinctive calls.
Eastern Bluebirds - pair @ hedgerow between lower fields, in close proximity of birdboxes.
