In view of the discussion about TypeIt4Me and Typinator, people might be interested in this response I got from Ergonis. No doubt someone has done the proposed test already. If anyone has comments, I would be interested. Also, I am not sure whether it should be considered fair for vendors to know how their programs waltz with leading word processors and to post information about that on their web sites.

You are right: Since we do not use NisusWriter, we do not know its correction feature works and therefore cannot tell how it interacts with Typinator.
But I would guess that one of them will "win" when you type a misspelled word. At least, there is a good chance that a misspelled word that is in both dictionaries will get corrected by either Typinator OR NisusWriter, which would produce a correct result in either case.

Anyway, I'd recommend that you simply try that. You can download Typinator and test it for free. When you are satisfied with the results, go ahead and purchase a license.

I hope this helps.

You may not know the answer, but if you do I will be grateful: How does the Typinator correction feature cooperate with, add to, or conflict with the correction feature already existing in NisusWriter?
