from [log in to unmask] Dear LLTIers, A former colleague asked the following. I am stumped - a condition more usual than not these days - but thought others in our field might know. Though we are in the Boston area, I think that the tape could be sent out elsewhere if need be. My colleague asks: "I have a quick question. Do you know of a place that repairs broken video tapes? We have a very special family tape where the end of the tape has been detached from the reel." Thanks, Ed RULE No. 504*:* Avoid any sushi restaurant with dead plants in the waiting area. RULE No. 882: Wearing a trash bag poncho is actually worse than getting wet. *********************************************** LLTI is a service of IALLT, the International Association for Language Learning (http://iallt.org/), and The Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning (http://www.languageconsortium.org/).
