Ledyard Banding Station Report for 4/24.2009 Thank you to everyone that visited and helped out. Unfortunately, it was a slow bird day. Fortunately, we had many folks around to tell stories and enjoy the sun! We captured 10 birds. Four of these were recaptures from the previous week. Black-capped Chickadee- 3 Hermit Thrush - 1 Hairy Woodpecker- 1 Northern Cardinal - 3 Eastern Phoebe - 1 Blue Jay - 1 Next week we will be banding on Thurs. from 6am-noon.
