A little pre-CBC driving around town produced a few noteworthy birds:

3 Cedar Waxwings near I89 on rt. 5 in Norwich

1 Hooded Merganser (male) just upriver of Pompy on the Connecticut
River.
1 Northern Shrike near the hoodie
1 Red-tailed Hawk also near the Hoodie

1 Pileated Woodpecker At Cedar Circle Farm

Also, with the ~50 Common Redpolls at our feeders I found at least one
Rostrata ssp. ("greater")
