I just checked the migration map on Hummingbirds.net and it shows hummingbird arrivals in central NH on 4/22 and along the Ct. River on 4/26.
I hadn't noticed any reported sightings on RBA for NH or VT. as of yet.
I made a mental note when I read that there had been sightings of Rose Breasted Grosbeaks on 4/29 by Doug Hardy. These birds arrive about the same time.
The only wildflowers of note in bloom are colts foot and bloodroot. I did see some dandylions in bloom in the town of Woodstock on Tuesday.
I plan to put out several feeders here at my house tomorrow morning. I just finished making my sugar water.
I will probably put out some feeders at the hospital on Friday.
