We've developed a FAQ over the years, and that helps students out a great deal, and I can't recall any instance that couldn't be solved, and the vast majority of the time it was something already in the FAQ. We ran Real service a long time ago; the server service was unreliable (and this was echoed by other associates), and we had to paid a fee to run it. To be fair, that was a long time ago, and I can't comment on the current state of affairs. Be sure you have server-class hardware (xserves work very well).
