Hi Barbara.

We have been using Moodle at Ohio University for a few years now in a handful of Linguistics and ESL classes. We have been very happy with the language support aspects and have transferred much of our traditional audio lab functions over to Moodle, thus allowing students to do their lab work from nearly any location.

You can visit the site (ohioenglish.com) to have a look.

If you have any specific questions I would be glad to talk with you.

Best,
Greg

Greetings:

At Oberlin, we are planning to use  Moodle  v 1.6
(http://www.moodle.org) as an alternative to Blackboard for language
classes (specifically the  LCTLs)  starting this fall.  We have begun to
tinker and explore, but would appreciate any guidance or support from
LLTI'ers before we go "live" in September.

Are there others of you out there that are using this tool for this
purpose?  If so, would you be willing to share your expertise?

Please let me know!

Barbara
