The easiest to hack are the no-name brands, like the Walmart type. The most difficult to hack are the high-end ones like Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic. Hacking your own property is not illegal, therefore I have no problem recommending this site: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks.php It usually takes a combination of buttons on your RC and/or device to access the hiden menu that lets you set the region code to 0.
