The online extension of the IALLT community complements the LLTI list by providing a space for more extended collaboration and exchange. IALLT members can post events of interest to the "Current Events" section, share thoughts on articles read and conferences attended, and participate in collaborative knowledge building about technologies, from overheads to MPEG-7. The IALLT Wiki is a space for information, sharing, and fun. In this vein, the first "IALLT Wiki Contribution Contest" invites IALLTers to submit their technology memories--illustrated if possible--to the "Gallery of Language Learning Technology." The contest deadline is October 1. IALLT members can enter the wiki through the "Services & Resources" page of the IALLT web (http://iallt.org/iallt_services/index.html). You're not an IALLT member? Go to http://iallt.org and join, so that you too can participate in this new opportunity.
