After installing the language pack and Global IME for Traditional and Simplified Chinese we tried to type in Chinese, it works in Word but does not work in PowerPoint. On the Microsoft web page there is a note saying that "On Windows Millennium, Windows 98, Windows 95, and Windows NT 4.0, the Global IMEs work only in supporting applications. " I was assuming PowerPoint was a supported application since it comes with Office, but it does not seem to be the case. As a temporary solution we are coping and paste from Word into PowerPoint but I was wondering is anybody has any suggestion regarding this issue. (we have no problem using our lab computers with Windows XP, but the students who have Windows ME are not able to upgrade their software and would like to been able to work in their room instead then having to come in the Lab). Thank you, Marisa ************************************************************************ Marisa Castagno Foreign Language Specialist PO Box 5296 Connecticut College 270 Mohegan Avenue New London Connecticut, 06320 Phone: 860-439-5387 ************************************************************************
